OTEPIC wurde 2008 als ein Selbsthilfeprojekt in Kitale, einer Stadt im Westen Kenias gegründet. Gründer Philip Odhiambo Munyasia mobilisierte von Anfang an Jugendliche und Fraueninitiativen aus den Slums der Stadt, er gab und gibt Ihnen eine Perspektive.

Die große Vision

Eine blühende, unabhängige Zukunft mit Nahrungssicherheit, Zugang zu sauberem Wasser, Energie aus erneuerbaren Quellen und Frieden zu entwickeln. Der afrikanische Traum von einem Leben in Fülle, Naturverbundenheit und Gastfreundschaft soll gelebt werden.

Nach 10 Jahren betreibt OTEPIC Permakultur an drei Standorten, betreut 16 Waisenkinder, sorgt für kostenloses sauberes Trinkwasser für die umliegenden Dörfer, bietet kostenloses Essen für Straßenkinder an, organisiert Baumpflanzungen, hat eigene Jugendgruppen und vieles mehr...

Die nächsten Schritte

OTEPIC gibt sein Wissen und seine Erfahrung gerne weiter. Zeitgleich steigt die Nachfrage nach Workshops und Trainings in Kitale. Hierfür ist nun auf 10 Hektar Land ein ökologisches Friedensdorf mit Permakulturschule für Konferenzen und Austausch für Kenianer und ganz Ostafrika am Entstehen.

The next step

OTEPIC gladly passes its knowledge and experience. At the same time the demand for workshops and training in Kitale increases. For this purpose is now on 10 hectare of land an ecological peace village and a permaculture school for conferences and exchange for Kenyans and all of East Africa in the process of emergence.
